Narváez Rural Complex

The Narváez country house is located in one of the most beautiful natural settings in Andalusia – in the heart of the Sierra de Baza. At an altitude of 1,390 metres, from the resort you can see spectacular views of the breathtaking scenery all around.

The actual cottage, Narváez country house, was the most emblematic on the north face of Sierra de Baza, despite the fact that there were once many fantastic homes. This particular cottage has always owed its special identity and recognition to its location along the natural passage to the mountains, its springs, its plentiful meadows, and, quite frankly, it was the best cottage-style home of the day. The structure has served many purposes; it was first a cottage, then a forest outpost, and subsequently a fully-functioning Park Welcome Centre. The cottage has endured from when it was first built back in the 1920s. Today, it is the only tourist resort that exists in the Natural Park of Sierra de Baza.

• CABINS. 5 Scandanavian-style wooden cabins, each accommodates up to six. 3 bedrooms with full-size bed, outside porch, kitchenette, TV, fridge, air conditioning, heating, full bathroom.

• RURAL HOMES We offer 3 rural homes:

“La Garduña” Rural Home, accommodates 10 plus 2, full kitchen, fridge, heating, wood burning stove, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, TV. 1 bedroom with full-size bed and 2 with bunk beds. There is a sofa-bed in the living room.

“Casimiro” Rural Home, accommodates up to 6 plus 2. With full kitchen, fridge, heating, fireplace, 1 bathroom, washing machine, TV, 1 bedroom with full-size bed and 1 with bunk beds. There is a sofa-bed in the living room.

“La Fonfría” Rural Home, accommodates 6 plus 2. With full kitchen, fridge, heating, wood burning stove, 1 bathroom, washing machine, TV. 1 bedroom with full-size bed and 1 with bunk beds. There is a sofa-bed in the living room.

• HOSTELS, 2 hostels accommodating up to 55 people. Rooms with bunk beds for 4, 6, 12 and 14 people. Heating, bathrooms and lounge area.The Resort is easily accessible from the A-92N motorway via an asphalt road just 5 km from exit 28.
