Baza

The Sierra de Baza Natural Park Centre is located in the old Narváez Forest Outpost and is part of the Facilities Network for Public Use, which is funded by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Regional Government of Andalusia. The building’s two floors contain:

• Main Floor: Here we find the reception lobby with a shop selling local products and a multi-purpose room used for films, exhibitions and conferences. There is also a permanent display on geology and mining in the Sierra de Baza.
• Ground Floor: The area holds permanent displays on ecology and the cultural history of the peoples that inhabited the lands of the Natural Park of the Sierra de Baza and its surroundings.
