Baza

This museum, located in the historic quarter of Baza, occupies two adjoining 16^th-century monumental buildings – the Old Town Hall building and the Corn Exchange - which were joined and refurbished to house the museum in 2011.

The museum, which is currently completing its exhibition, has eight permanent exhibition halls covering more than one thousand square meters of floor space, where visitors can travel through the entire history and archaeology of Baza and the surrounding area, from Prehistory to the Modern Age, through Iberian Culture, the Roman world, the Visigoths and the Middle Ages. The Museum also has two temporary exhibition spaces in the patio and upper gallery of the former Corn Exchange building.
